Described and illustrated in Tuulse (1949): limestone baptismal font with a basin of a variant type he describes as 'polygonalen Müschelcuppen'; the polygonal top of the basin has sixteen sides, the sides decorated with an equal number of broad ribs thar continue on the rounded underbowl; there is a scotia under the upper rim of the basin; the basin is raised on a plain cylindrical stem and a quadrangular lower base with the upper angles chamfered. [NB: the Saaremaa web site [www.saaremaa.ee] states "the stone baptismal font dates to the latter half of the 13th century"]
