There is an entry for Hungarton [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SK6907/hungarton/] [accessed 13 August 2015], but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. An ancient font in this church is noted in Pevsner (1984): "Font. Norman, square, with concentric lozenges (cf. Rothley and Peckleton)" -- also Gt. Casterton in Rutland. Noted and illustrated in Leicestershire Churches [www.leicestershirechurches.co.uk/hungarton-church-st-john-the-baptist/] [accessed 13 August 2015]: "The Norman font with its square design and lozenge carving looks like a cut-down version and the corners have been taken off for some obscure reason."
