Noted and illustrated in Upcott (1818). Described in Pevsner (1984): "Font. Perp[endicular], octagonal, castellated, better than the usual run of Perp[endicular] fonts." Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin raised on a pedestal formed by clustered columns, and a plain quadrangular lower base or plinth; the sides of the basin are decorated with large quatrefoil motifs, the upper rim of the basin is crenellated.
