The font here is described and illustrated in the CRSBI (2015) as a baptismal font consisting of a Romanesque octagonal basin, raised on a capital -serving as underbowl- and a pedestal base that are both 15th-century. The basin is painted on the outside, the paint highlighting the blind arcade of round-headed arches, two per side; the underbowl piece is decorated with ball motif, and the stem and lower base, both octagonal, with tracery (trefoil, tetrafoil, etc.) A wooden (oak?) cover of late manufacture, flat octagonal base with eight low ribs supporting a ball finial.
