Andre (1882) writes: "Mr. Burges, who made metal work one of his chief studies, noted a leaden font at Amiens, in which all the traceries, buttresses, arches, and figures were fastened on with rivets in the same manner as if the material used were iron". [NB: we have not been able to find any other information on this font -- presumed disappeared]
