Hussey (1852) suggests that "the piers and arches of the north of the nave, together with the font, seem to be Perp[endicular]. Harrison (1920) reports a 13th-century font in this church. The font is illustrated in the web page of the Parish of St. Peter and St. Paul, Rustington [www.sspeterandpaul-rustington.org.uk] as an octagonal mounted font probably of the 13th century.
