Drawing of a font in the Harvey Pridham Drawings of English Fonts (MS 56). [Folder Number, Item Description]. University of Colorado at Boulder Libraries. Special Collections Dept., done by Harvey Pridham July 1888 accompanied by the following description: "Octagonal bowl, circular stem, base, & foot - pace. Position, opposite S. porch, on N. side of Nave walk 1/2 way up. No cover." The octagonal mounted font at St. Catherine's appears now [2006] to have been repaired and re-tooled [NB: the original fabric of the church goes back to the 12th century, with a major renovation in the 15th century].
