Cautley (1982) notes the simple 17th-century font cover. Noted in the Historic Churches Preservation Trust, Recent Grants [...] 16 March 2006 [www.historicchurches.org.uk]: "Early 15th century font". Both font and cover are illustrated in Knott (2008); the font is octagonal and totally plain, as if had been scraped; the cover is an octagonal pyramid, plain, with a knob finial.
