Noted in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments, Hertforshire (1911): "Font: of chalk, bowl with panelled sides of different designs, panelled stem, 15th-century." In Pevsner & Cherry (1977): "Font. Octagonal, Perp[endicular], with various tracery patterns on the panels of the bowl; the stem is also panelled.
