Octagonal mounted font perhaps of the 13th or 14th century; the octagonal basin has seven plain vertical sides but the lower half of the eighth side has been cut off as if to fit against a low wall; the stem of the base is a square shaft with square attached colonnettes at 90-degree angles; round lower base, probably altered; the whole font appears to be one single block of stone. The wooden cover consists of a flat and plain octagonal base with eight ribs that stem from the outer angles of the base and cirle towards the centre pivot, all of which end in knob finials.
