Only a holy-water stoup is noted in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (Essex, 1916-1923), with a destroyed basin, on the N side of the chancel. The present font is modern, probably from the 1880s renovation of the church; it has an octagonal octagonal basin with decorated sides, on clustered columns. [NB: although the fabric of the church goes back to the late 11th or early 12th century, we have no information on the original font of this church -- the former church is now a private residence, but the modern font is still inside, in the former chancel, now a bedroom]
