Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002-) as the basin from a Romanesque sandstone baptismal font now [ca. 2002] in the gardens of the Palacio Episcopal in Burgos. The hemispherical basin appears very regular in shape, the sides decorated with wide incised blind arches more in the manner of a ribbed pattern; there are two iron staples visible in the upper rim, the hardware for the font cover. There is no information on the original church to which it belonged.
