Thre are four entries for [Great and Little] Sexham [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/XX0000/great-and-little-saxham/] [accessed 22 June 2025], one of which reports "0.7 churches. 0.05 church lands" in it. There is no font in this church now, but a font belonging to the 12th-century bulding existed here; there may have been a church here even earlier on, since Anglo-Saxon times [cf. supra].
