Font Notes:
Holy-water stoup consisting of a hemispherical basin mounted on a plain cylindrical base [there could be a lower base but the floor of the nave has been raised and the stem of the stoup protrudes from the raised boards]; the underbowl of the large stoup basin appears ribbed, the work rather irregular; like the nearby baptismal font, the stem has been covered with an awful blue paint. The stoup is located just inside the entrance. [cf. Index entry for Barcia No. 1 for a crude baptismal font in the same church]
Credit and Acknowledgements: We are grateful to Carlos Satre for bringing this stoup to our attention and for the photographs of the object
