Noted in the 3rd ed. of Hutchins (1973 c1861-1874) as an octagonal font decorated with rich tracery on the sides and dated to the rebuilding of the church by Sir Richard Glyn in 1851-1852 {NB: there is evidence of a church in this location since the end of the 13th century but we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church]
