Stone baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with a rounded underbowl raised on an octagonal pedestal and lower base of the same shape; the rim of the basin is decorated with a torus-scotia-torus comnbination and there is a foliage motif all around below, but much of it is damaged now; below thr rima and all around the side is a narrow band with a variety of Gothic motifs, each of the eight sides containing three repeated motifs (cusped quatrefoils, square flowers, etc.); the underbowl has tracery patterns all around, each side a different one; the octagonal pedestal base appears to be fluted but there is a tiny trefoiled arch-head atop each flute; the moulded lower base has two volumes; the basin has a metal liner or insert which is probably a baptismal dish, as is common use in Northern churches. The font cover is dome and has a Latin cross finial.
