The Dorset Historic Churches Trust [http://dorsethistoricchurchestrust.co.uk] âccessed 9 January 2006 notes that the 19th-century font in this church was designed by G.R. Crickmay of Weymouth ca. 1869. The same source informs that there was a Norman church in this village, but it was abandoned and a new church [Holy Trinity's] was built on another site. [NB: we have no information of the font(s) of the original church]
