The Dorset Historic Churches Trust [http://dorsethistoricchurchestrust.co.uk] illustrates the font and gives its date as 1868. Newman & Pevsner (1972) note an observation by a Mr. McHardy: "The font is placed before the altar -- a pre-Camdean position". [NB: some of the early elements of the building go back to the Decorated period [i.e., 1250-1350], but we have no information on the early font(s) of this church]
