Newman & Pevsner (1972) mantion only the: "Font cover. 1637. Small and plain." The Dorset Historic Churches Trust [http://dorsethistoricchurchestrust.co.uk/rymeintrinseca.htm] illustrates the font and cover; the font consists of an octagonal basin with vertical shallow sides and a tall concave underbowl chamfer that ends in a ring moulding at the top of the octagonal stem; octagonal lower base, appears plain. The wooden cover is of the octagonal pyramidal type, not very tall, with a ball finial. [NB: the fabric of the church goes back to the 13th century, but we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church]
