There are three entries, one of which is multiple-place (3 places), for Bridport [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/SY4692/bridport/] [accessed 6 January 2020], one of which reports "3 churches. 4.0 church lands" in it. During his visit to this church on 13 October 1825, Glynne (1923) noted: "Outside the north door is a cinquefoil stoup." [cf.
