In Newman & Pevsner (1972): "Font. Columnar; C18." The Dorset Historic Churches Trust site [http://dorsethistorichurchestrust.co.uk/owermoigne.htm] [accessed 18 December 2005] notes: "The 18C columnar font [...] was found filled with flowers in the rectory garden before being finally restored to its proper place in the church." [NB: the tower dates from the 15th century, while the rest of the church dates from the pre-Victorian restoration; we have no information of the earlier font(s) of this church].
