Described in Pérez Arribas (1974) as a baptismal font probably of the 14th century. It consists of a basin of large proportions, decorated with a ribbed pattern of almost flat ribs all around, raised on a short cylindrical stem and a square lower base with spurs at 90-degree angles. The font is in a very poor state of repair; the upper basin rim has suffered much damage, especially at the spots where the old metal staples of the cover were anchored. The lower base is below the flooring level. Pérez Arribas (ibid.) appears to imply that the font had been moved from the baptistery to the west end of the nave (?) [cf. Index entry for Alcocer No. 2 for the holy-water stoup in this church]
