Noted in Mee (1939) as an "ancient font" in this church. Yet, Newman & Pevsner (1972) write: "Font. C18. Almost a joke; the bowl is so small." The Dorset Page [www.thedorsetpage.com] informs that there are actually two fonts in this church, "one medieval, and the other unusual late 17th century, classical with a minute bowl." [NB: the original fabric of the church goes back to the 12th century]. [cf. Index entry for Farnham No. 1 for the late font of this church]
