Chalice-shaped baptismal font consisting of a hemispherical basin raised on a baluster base and a square plinth; the upper basin side has an inscription [cf. Inscription area], below which is a ribbed pattern topped with an arcade of supportless round arches; the upper side of the stem of the base has two mouldings; the back side of the upper has metal staples of the old cover. [NB: the font is now used as a decorative planter inside the monastery church]
