The Historic Churches Preservation Trust [source: 'Recent grants', Grants Cttee meeting of 13 September 2005] notes the following in reference to Otterburn St. John's: "The font is a carved stone brought from Hexham Abbey". [NB: there is no indication as to when the fant was moved from the Abbey -- Hexham is about 40 km S of Otterburn, and its origins go back to Anglo-Saxon time; there is, however, no indication in the source as to the date of the font itself]
