A baptismal font or, more likely, large holy-water stoup located in the courtyard of the chapel; it consists of two parts: a very regular hemispherical basin decorated with a band of a squence of four-dots-and-a-stroke all around; the lower end of the underbowl turns into a square shape, presumably to fit a square pedestal of similar dimensions, however, the pedestal base is obviously not a match and may well belong to a different bowl. The pedestal base is square with chamfered angles and splays out slightly at the lower end; at the top end, it a ppears to have a round moulding of smaller proportions. There is no mention of this obhect in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra. [cf. Index entry for Mendavia No. 1 for another holy-water stoup located in the interior of the chapel]. [We are grateful to Javier Torrens, of Pamplona, Spain, for the photographs of this object]
