The font at Rievaulx St Mary's is a modern one; it consists of a plain cylindrical basin raised on a cylindrical pedestal base; the lower base is moulded; flat wooden cover, moder; round plinth with square 'priest's stone' extension. [We have no information on the earlier font[s] from this 13th-century church].
