A crudely carved cylindrical basin resting on a square squat base, probably a later addition; there is extensive damage around the upper sides of the tub-shaped basin. There is also a crude roughly hemispherical wall-mounted outside the entranceway. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 25 January 2021] mentions the 12th-century church here but not its baptismal font. Carmen Baena Yerón [www.arquivoltas.com/15-Burgos/02-LaCerca.htm] [accessed 25 January 2021] describes it as Romanesque [="A los pies, a la derecha de la puerta de entrada hallamos un sencilla pila bautismal románica"].
