An object located in an external courtyard of the Palacio de Gelmirez, near the northern promenade that leads to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, appears to be a holy-water stoup; the basin is roughly hemispherical and decorated with flat ribbed patern around the underbowl, while the upper basin side has a wave-line motif; the inside of the basin well has a ball motif inside, a rare occurrence; the basin is raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal.
