On-line notes: baptismal font of grey and white marble of the Baroque period, probably 17th century; the basin is roughly hemispherical and decorated with horizontal mouldings at the upperside, and with a vertical ribbed pattern around the underbowl, the ribs stylised and angular rather than the usual round; the stem is quadrangular and decorated with mouldings and other motifs, the lower base with chamfered angles that render it octagonal; the font cover is a gilded overflow of Baroque splendour topped with a finial in the form of a youth holding a chalice in the right hand.
