On-site notes: baptismal font in the old Visigothic basilica; the church itself dates from the mid 7th century, in the kingdom of Recesvint; not known whether the font belonged here or was brought in from elsewhere; the font is a low monolithic bucket-shaped tank that rests directly on the ground, made of limestone (?) and provided with a central drain; the upper rim has traces of staples from an old cover; single groove all around below the rim is the only decoration.
