On-site notes: the holy-water stoup in this church mat be earlier than the font; it consists of a round basin in the shape of a truncated cone, the upper circumference lerger than the lower, the sides decorated with a crude arcade of round arches [which can also be read as a truncated ribbed pattern]; tha lower basin has a round protrusion that appears to be one piece with the basin, and that serves to accommodate the round pedestal base [cf.
