Additional Comments: NB: access to this church was very difficult; the old parish priest lives in the adjacent house and was particularly unpleasant, ill-manered and obstinately set on not giving us access to the interior of the church [memories of Jose Arranz y Arranz in El Burgo de Osma!] ; it took us a long time and a very unpleasant one, to make him relent and let us in -- labor omnia vincit? - or who is most mule-ish of the two? -- a photo of the old priest is available to warn future visitors]
Font Notes:
On-site notes: medieval holy-water stoup consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin mounted on a round pedestal base; the upper basin side has a band of X-in-a-square or saltire motif, but it appears to be only on the north and east side, rather than all around; the basin, which is partly cemented into the west wall, and the upper third of the pedestal appear to be one piece, made of orange granite, with the remaining twd thirds another piece of a purple (?) granite [cf. Index entry for Muradelle No. 1 for the baptismal font in this church]
