Fuenteseca Alvarez and González Gutiérrez (1998) mention the font at Camoca as possibly related to the font at Gúa [cf. Index entry], also in the province of Oviedo. According to this source, "D. Joaquín Manzanares, cronista de Asturias" saw the Camoca font in the property of a certain Oviedo antique dealer twenty-five to thirty years earlier [i.e., 1968-1973] [="que acertó a ver la pila de Camoca en poder de cierta anticuaria de Oviedo hace unos 25 ó 30 años"].
