Baptismal font consisting of a plaincylindrical basin mounted on a round pedestal with a splaying lower base, also round, and mounted on an octagonal plinth. The basin is lead lined. The wooden font cover is round and flat, with metal decoration and lock. The font is illustrated by Steve Beazley, of RootsWeb. Com [http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com] [accessed 17 May 2005]. [NB: with such a plain design this font could be of an earlier date, but the church was built ca. 1876 and we have no indication to suggest that the font was other than a new one made for this church].
