Noted in Cox (1912): "Octagonal font of Pentewan stone". Noted in Pevsner (1970): "Font. Octagonal, with elaborate C14 tracery panels." There is busy tracery on the basin sides, with simpler patterns on the underbowl chamfer, and simpler still on the octagonal stem; the lower base has none but is moulded.
