Noted in Ghislain (1986) as a fragment of a baptismal font of the Mosan-namurois group, not unlike the font from Flône [cf. Index entry], with arcade ornamentation similar to that on the fonts at Grande-Enneille, Les Awirs, Opprebais, Roux-Miroir, Villers-la-Ville, Wauthier-Braine, Wellin and Thynes. Catalogued and illustrated in Ghislain (2009) as a baptismal font of the Namurois group, filiation Beauvechain, made of limestone ca. 1150-1155; two fragments of the original font discovered in the presbitery were built into the back of a wall between the church and the rectory in 1995 by the priest Jacques Dubois. The entry for this church in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10112791] [accessed 19 August 2025] lists and illustrates only the present font of 1832.
