Oval-shaped ceramic baptismal dish in the Kunstgewerbemuseum [museum of arts and crafts] in Berlin. The oval shallow object is made of blue ceramic and the well surface is divided into four main sections, each with a baptism-related scene. According to the Museum label, the object was made in Nürnberg in 1750, and was painted by Georg Kordenbusch [We are grateful to Anne and Tom Heck, of Santa Barbara, USA, for the photograph and details of this object]
