Noted in Pevsner (1971): "Font. Perp[endicular], octagonal, with quatrefoil decoration and a panelled stem." Richards (1973) writes: "Tarvin has preserved its fine fifteenth century font. Octagonal in shape, with quatrefoil panels, the shaft is enriched with tracery and alternate panels and shields, and the base with a beautifully carved roses." [NB: the font appears to have been re-tooled; all the sides of the stem have shields inscribed in trefoil arches or windows; the upper rim of the basin appears to have been cut off].
