Two modern fonts are reported in this church in Pevsner (1971: "Fonts. One is Norman [i.e., in style], no doubt of c.1846, the other an C18 baluster shaft." Richards (1973) writes: "In marked contrast to the ponderous sham Norman font, the original early eighteenth century font [...] has recently been restored to the church." [NB: the earlier church here is said to date from the Norman period, but we have no information on the medieval font].
