Described and illustrated in Richards (1973): "The font is octagonal and possibly contemporary with the building of the church in 1627." Richards (ibid.) further notes that the 1671 visitation recorded the lack of a cover on the font. The present font cover, octagonal and flat, with metal decoration and handle, is probably modern.
