The Victoria County History (Huntingdon, vol. 2, 1932) notes: "In the north aisle is a 14th-century carved stone, perhaps part of a pinnacle, now made up as a stoup." This stoup is also noted in Pevsner (1968): "Square and gabled. Mr Sisson suggests that it may be part of a pinnacle." [CF.
