Noted in Pevsner (1958): "C18, baluster-shaped." Described in Foyle (2004): "Early C18 baluster shape with octagonal gadrooned bowl." [NB: the crypt of St. Nicholas dates from the 14th century, and there probably was an earlier church here, but we have no information on its font].
