Noted in Stabb (1908): "There is an old octagonal font [...], at each angle there is an angel, the wings supporting the bowl, the hands clasping each other." The font consists of an octagonal basin with rather shallow vertical sides over a tall slightly concave chamfer, a plain octagonal stem and a splaying lower base, also octagonal and plain. The panels of the basin sides are deeply carved with a variety of motifs, but the most striking part of this font are the eight cherubs mentioned in Stabb, their wings reaching up to the basin panels, their heads protruding against the starkness of the stem.
