Noted and illustrated in Hussell (1910): "The font [...] is octagonal, the basin being probably of Early Perpendicular, evidently roughly used at one time, as it has been broken right across and joined together with metal cramps. It rests on a modern stem, also octagonal, with a moulded cap and base." Pevsner (1952), however, writes: "Font. C13, octagonal with the flat blank arches of the table-top type (but pointed)."
