The second of two notable wall-mounted holy-water stoups in this church [cf. Index entry for Barcelona No. 11 for the other], both believed to have been made from capitals. This one is octagonal, the vertical side decorated with foliage (oak leaf on some of the sides); the arrises of the panels taper in and twist towards the left on the underbowl; the base support on which it is mounted is similar to the one on which the other stoup is mounted, which suggests they may have been put up around the same time. [cf. Index entry for Barcelona No. 14 for the baptismal font in this church]. [We are grateful to Montserrat Estela, of Barcelona, Spain, for the photograph of this stoup]
