The font consists of a large roughly hemisperical basin decorated with a double roll moulding at the upper rim side (the upper moulding is badly damaged), while the sides and the underbowl are covered in a pattern of broad vertical ribs; the lower moulding has a band of scallop the bulges of which fit in between the upper ends of the ribs; the base is a squat quadrangular pedestal. Both pieces are of crude workmanship and rather irregular shape.
