Large baptismal font probably of the 14th or 15th century, in the Gothic style; it consists of a hemispherical basin raised on a cylindrical pedestal base; the sides of the basin are decorated with a combination of very large raised pointed leaf-shaped motifs alternating with smaller ones that are carved into the surface, not a commonly found pattern; the pedestal base has a roll moulding at each end, and is modern. A modern metal cover-top is on the font now. [NB: the font, as the church itself, was damaged during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939); the base is a modern replacement; the original appears to have had the same shape, as can ne seen in an old photograph in the Biblioteca Nacional de Madrid]
