A photograph in Stabb (1908) shows the interior of the church; in the foreground, to the left [i.e., in the centre nave, towards the north side] is a baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin raised on a pedestal base; the sides of the basin are profusely decorated. Stabb does not mention the font in the text. The font consists of an octagonal basin the sides of which are profusely decorated with tracery, crocketed arches, etc.; there is an inscription in Gothic letterin all around just below the upper rim [text not available]; the angles of the underbowl are adorned with rosettes, the panels in between have charged shields; the sides of the octagonal stem have quatrefoil panels that inscribe a variety of floral motifs; the lower base is also octagonal and decorated. The wooden cover is a carved octagonal platform on which are four curled ribs.
