Font Notes:
Noted in Mee (1945): "the low tub-shaped font is the oldest possession of the church, made by a Norman craftsman." The Victoria County History (Northampton, vol. 5, 2002) notes: "church, dedicated to St. Michael, [...] The earliest feature is the plain 12th-century tub font." Bucket-shaped basin mounted on a short circular lower base slightly wider than the basin; round wooden cover with metal decorations and short cross finial; appears modern [Victorian?]
